Accessibility statement

Commitment to accessibility

CENTRE MÈDIC MAPA S.L. is committed to making the content of this website accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of their abilities, the device they use or the technology they employ to access it.

Improving the accessibility of the website includes usability, semantic structure, keyboard navigation, readability and adaptation to different screen sizes. These aspects must be checked as part of the accessibility assessment.

Accessibility criteria

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, have been used as a reference in developing this website.

Help with accessibility features

Keyboard navigation

Press Tab to move forwards through links and controls, and Shift + Tab to move backwards. The focus outline identifies the selected item. Activate links with Enter and buttons with Enter or the Space bar. Use the Space bar to select or clear checkboxes.

The first link on the page is ‘Skip to content’. It becomes visible when focused and takes you to the main content.

On narrow screens, activate the ‘Open menu’ button and press Tab to enter its links. Press Escape to close the mobile menu or a desktop submenu. When you leave the mobile menu using Tab, it closes without moving focus away from its destination.

Pausing motion

The ‘Pause motion’ control in the navigation stops the homepage motion effects. Activate it with a click, a tap or the keyboard. Its label changes to ‘Enable motion’ to turn the effects back on. On narrow screens, the control is inside the expanded menu.

The website also takes account of your device’s reduced-motion preference. When it is active, the control displays ‘Reduced motion’ and is disabled; there is no need to pause motion manually.

Page index

You will find ‘Site map’ at the bottom of each page. Open it with a click, a tap, Enter or the Space bar. It contains links to the pages in the current language, including professional profiles and legal pages.

Enlarging content

Use your browser’s zoom control to enlarge or reduce the page. In Chrome on Windows, use Ctrl + + to zoom in, Ctrl + − to zoom out and Ctrl + 0 to return to 100%.

Contact forms

Fields marked with * are required. Select your reason for contacting us and your preferred contact method. If you choose ‘Email’, you must enter an email address; if you choose ‘Telephone’, email is optional. The telephone number remains a required field.

The help beside the email field explains this condition. If an error appears, review the field following the message. The error information is associated with the field so that it can be read using a screen reader.

After reading the privacy information, select the acknowledgement checkbox to enable the send button. The Privacy Policy link opens in a new tab. Do not include medical or health information in the form. Requesting an appointment does not automatically confirm a booking: the centre must confirm availability and appointment details.

Reading with assistive technology

With a screen reader, use its reading commands to move through text, headings and landmarks. Tab moves through controls and links; use the screen reader’s reading commands to reach the informative images in the footer.

Checks carried out include Chrome and Narrator on Windows 11. To pronounce each language correctly, your screen reader needs the relevant compatible voices installed. If you encounter a difficulty, include your browser, device and, where applicable, screen reader when reporting it to the email address below.

Reporting accessibility issues

If you experience difficulty accessing any content or feature of this website, you can report it to CENTRE MÈDIC MAPA S.L. by email at mapacentremedic@gmail.com, indicating, if possible, the affected page or content and a description of the problem.
